A global palliative care movement
On October 18, 2024, the Palliative Care ECHO Project, led by Pallium Canada and its partners, hosted the World’s Largest Palliative Care ECHO Session simultaneously online and in-person at the McGill International Palliative Care Congress in Montreal.
We brought thousands of health care professionals together, offering live interpretation in multiple languages. Participants learned from internationally acclaimed experts, shared experiences and best practices, and contributed to raising awareness and advancing accessible palliative care globally.
The impact of this event emphasizes the need for equitable care for all and highlights the critical role of education and collaboration in improving care for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
