COVID-19 Response – Free, Online Palliative Care Modules

Enhance your knowledge, skills, and practice in providing high-quality palliative care with these free, self-directed modules.

Pallium, in collaboration with the Canadian Medical Association (CMA), is providing access to essential education on palliative care for all health care professionals in response to this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. In these difficult times, it is more important than ever that all health care providers are equipped with the essential skills to provide compassionate, palliative care to patients in need.


New modules added and offer extended

We are thrilled to share that our collaboration with the Canadian Medical Association has expanded to include four additional online palliative care modules. These modules are focused on the most relevant topics during the pandemic and includes two completely new modules specifically related to managing palliative care during the COVID-19 outbreak.

In addition, this offer has been extended and is available until August 31, 2020.

Additional Information

Pallium and CMA are making these 10 Learning Essential Approaches to Palliative Care (LEAP) modules available online for free to all health care professionals until August 31, 2020. These modules will help provide health care teams with an introduction to the palliative care approach focused on the important knowledge and skills required during the COVID-19 pandemic response. The modules are currently only available in English.

How to Access

These free, online modules are available to all health care professionals and accessed via Pallium’s learning management system, Pallium Central. To access the modules now, please follow these instructions:

  1. Create an account in Pallium Central.
  2. Once you are logged in to your Pallium Central account, click on the Free online modules orange icon on your dashboard.
  3. Get started by clicking on any one of the 10 LEAP modules. You will have access to these modules until August 31, 2020.
